Tips for Parents of Teens

Make it clear to teens that using drugs & alcohol is not an option.

Know who your teens' friends are and how to reach them.

Know where your teens will be and who they'll be with; ask for a call if plans change.

Contact other parents if you have concerns.

Come up with a code word your teens can use to let you know they need to be picked up from an uncomfortable or dangerous situation.
